The Lakeshore area is close to major metropolitan cities, yet far enough away to hold a little bit of yesteryear's Americana. An Americana where your children can obtain a good education, city services are first rate, property values are reliable, and you can feel safe while your business grows and you raise your family. | ||
The Lakeshore area is conveniently located just off Interstate 94, on exits 22 through 23. The unique combination of suburban living within easy driving distance of Chicago, South Bend, and Kalamazoo attracts managerial and professional families: South Bend, IN (35 miles). Kalamazoo, MI (52 miles). Grand Rapids, MI (85 miles). Chicago, IL (90 miles) and Detroit, MI (175 miles). In addition, there are commercial airports in Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, and South Bend. Rail service is also available. |

| Positioned on the sunset side of the state, Lakeshore area
residents enjoy watching the sun seemingly sink into Lake Michigan each
evening. The Lakeshore area offers a great combination of industry, farming, and beachfront to entertain, employ, and interest visitors as well as residents. There are more than 450 manufacturers - with a population of less than 162,000; that's quite impressive! Berrien County has many personalities. From farming to industry, shopping to tourism - we offer something for everyone. Residents and tourists alike enjoy the Discover Stevensville Festival held the last weekend in June and Baroda's Summerfest held the 1st Saturday after Labor Day. These summer festivals feature: parades, street dances, car shows, games, contests, entertainment, and so much more! |
